The Shield that will Endanger Us

The Shield that will Endanger Us

By Erick San Juan

“Pentagon will give PH a powerful radar.” So, what else is new?

As an observer of events unfolding that has something to do with the web of lies being woven right before us, courtesy of the present leadership, I have written about this so-called radar that will be given to us via the National Coast Watch Center.

Remember the PNoy’s “fruitful” US visit, Washington has pledged to support the National Coast Watch Center which was created in September 2011 under Executive Order 57 signed by the President, which calls for the establishment of a National Coast Watch Center headed by the Philippine Coast Guard to implement and coordinate maritime security operations in the country. Meaning, expanded intelligence operations a.k.a. listening post. (Taken from, June 13, 2012). What about the ethnic Filipino Chinese and Chinoys who are now active members and funders of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Group? Do they have the necessary security clearance?

And…. “The US military on Tuesday said it planned to provide a powerful land-based radar to the Philippines as the country faced an escalating dispute with China over territorial rights in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea). The radar system will form part of a “watch center” that will track ships off the Philippine archipelago’s coastline, according to a Pentagon spokesperson. “We are in the initial planning stages of assisting the Philippines with a National Coast Watch Center,” Major Catherine Wilkinson told Agence France Presse.” (AFP June 13, 2012)

Finally… In a report from the Wall Street Journal yesterday, August 27, it was disclosed that the U.S. is planning a major expansion of missile defenses in Asia, a move American officials say is designed to contain threats from North Korea, but one that could also be used to counter China’s military.

US defense officials are quoted as saying that “a centerpiece” of its new missile ‘defense’ would be the deployment of a powerful early-warning radar, known as an X-Band, in an undisclosed southern Japanese island and in the Philippines. (From various sources 8/25/2012)

So now, which is which? Is the land-based X-band radar is to monitor North Korea or to contain China via the National Coast Watch Center?

Methinks (so is our friends from the progressive groups and other patriotic Filipinos), this X-band radar is the same dog with a different collar, translation – the same radars installed in the South that will form part of Uncle Sam’s expansion of the missile-defense shield in the Asia-Pacific region.

A few weeks ago, a news came out that The Philippines’ southern border area -- specifically Sulu --has been red-flagged by the United States as a possible transport route for weapons of mass destruction by terrorist groups.

Every possible alibi that can be thrown against us - from terrorism to WMD to piracy to terror groups training center, it was perceived that Uncle Sam will surely come up with these foolish accusations so as to sow fear in the process and justify their presence in our territory. True enough, the country is now beholden to a perceived master and savior that will possibly drag us all to a war that is not our liking at all.

The most likely question that will come to every Filipino’s mind who is unaware of the spin, "why is the present leadership allowing this dilemma that will put the country in the crosshairs?" The target of an impending war.

Your answer is as good as mine. We are living to that stigma – ‘US outpost and military doormat’, that was branded to us because we cannot say no to Uncle Sam, and even our own Defense establishment upholds the military buildup in the region with open legs.

As long as we kowtow to Washington’s every whim without even a 'quid pro quo', we cannot remove ourselves from the shield that will put each of us in the line of danger. Let us all be vigilant as we enter these exciting times where the supposed leaders that we elected will only heed to His BOSS and not his REAL BOSS – us Pinoys!

Economic War: Blame Game by Erick San Juan

What went wrong with China? According to Keith Bradsher of the Global Edition of the New York Times (August25, 2012), after three decades of ardent growth, China is now reportedly encountering an unfamiliar problem with its economy. There's now a huge build up of unsold goods that is allegedly cluttering shop floors, clogging car dealerships and filling factory warehouses. There is now an oversupply from steel, household appliances to cars and apartments which impede China's efforts to emerge from a drastic economic slowdown. It led to a series of price wars and manufacturers redoubling their efforts to export what they cannot sell in China. The Chinese government, according to report, has been trying to cover it up by blocking or adjusting its economic data in an effort to prop up confidence in the economy among business manager's and investors.

China's economic nightmare is interconnected with the global recession where the Eurozone's currency is collapsing and the United States economy and its political gridlock paralyzes America and the world. The pattern is glaring. Real estate prices and stock markets have fallen, imports and exports have also stalled, sales fell dramatically.

Here comes the prophets of doom namely- Jacob Rothschild, john Paulson and George Soros all betting that financial disaster is coming.( Jacob Rothschild, one of the wealthiest men in the world made a bet of almost 200 million dollars that the Euro will go down. While billionaire hedge fund manager JohnPaulson made around 20 billion dollars betting against the US housing market during the last financial crisis is again betting that the Euro will go down and that the price of precious metals especially gold will go up. The other week, George Soros unloaded all his stocks and convert it into physical gold investments. Definitely, the gold price will soar creating massive financial disaster in the process. Their behavior is alarming for all of us.

Are these elites are the only one to be blamed? What about the policies of governments' and the world's regulators like the United Nations, World Trade Organization, APEC, ARF,etc.? As if undermining the World Trade Organization's Doha Round of global free trade talks was not bad enough where the last ministerial meeting in Geneva produced barely a squeak, the United States has reportedly compounded it's folly by actively promoting the Trans-Pacific Partnership (CRS-Congressional Research Service Report Dec.12,2011). This was actually announced by US President Barack Obama during his sorties in the Asian region. At the onset, this is being propagated using the western media to the unsuspecting public as evidence of American leadership on trade. But the fact is the opposite. It is important that those who care about global trading system know what's really happening. According to pundits, this could allegedly trigger a 'Dracula' effect: expose what remain hidden to sunlight and it will shrivel up and die.

The TPP partnership is criticized as a testament to the ability of American industrial lobbies, Congress and leaders to obfuscate public policy. It is widely understood today that free trade agreements, whether bilateral or multilateral are perceived built on discrimination. Reason most economists call them PTA-preferential trade agreements. In principle, countries are free to join the TPP but a closer look reveals that not all can just like China. The TPP is believed to be US political response to China's new aggressiveness designed to contain and possibly confront China in the process. TPP's template includes numerous agenda unrelated to trade like labor standard and restraints on the use of capital account control, many of which preclude China's accession. These extraneous conditions will reportedly make the TPP a 'high quality trade agreement for the twenty-first century.

The result of the TPP is now being felt in South America and by China. Many Asian countries joined the TPP to 'keep the US in the region' in the face of the Mainland China's heavy handedness. They embraced the US in the same way that East Europeans rushed to join Nato and the European Union in the face threat-real or imagined posed by post-Soviet Russia. These big nations are pushing each other to the wall and blaming each other overtly and covertly.

Governments and big banks all over the world are discreetly preparing for an eventual financial disaster. What about us? Our ‘trapos’ (traditional politicians) are preparing for the 2013 and 2016 elections.

Wake up!

Who Do We Turn To? by Erick San Juan

Who Do We Turn To? by Erick San Juan

Washington continues to implement it's political and military plans in the Asia Pacific region and expand it's presence in the region as a counterweight to China's interests. At the Nato summit in Chicago recently, the United States announced the completion of the first stage of the Asian segment of the U.S. global missile defense system. In Japan, Patriot air defense systems are on alert. The U.S. and Japanese destroyers are equipped with the latest maritime defense component, the Aegis system. Each year, the U.S. Navy participate in over 170 military exercises and visit over 250 ports in the region. Oppositors are not convinced and believe that the U.S. is just using this pretext of protecting Japan and South Korea from the North Korean missile threat.

According to strategic observers, terrritorial disputes in South China Sea between countries in the region should be resolved only under international law while China believe that it must be between the parties involved in the dispute. Internationalization of these problems can reportedly cause undesirable consequences which could drag the security of the region, The Asean community has seen this during the stand off between the Philippines and China. The Philippine government is perceived to be a willing tool in the U.S. expansionism. Even the U.S. Coast guards took part in the said military exercises as part of the maritime security operation.

The American government is even willing to offer their services to the Asean nations to contain China. The U.S. assistant secretary for political and military affairs, Andrew Shapiro, talked about this with the military leadership of Thailand at a meeting in Bangkok last June 22,2012. Shapiro added that his government's defense establishment is ready to participate in creating a system of deterrence to any possible threat. The 'permanent' stay of the U.S. military in the region was perfectly achieved through the accreditation of their humanitarian and rescue operation centers.

According to the "China Choice", a new book written by Professor Hugh White of the Autralia's National University's Strategic Studies and a veteran China watcher, if America tries to be dominant, if it tries to keep China in the box, that it has been in these last few decades, then China's going to push back. That's going to make rivalry more likely. Just like the Asean, Australia will be faced with that terrible situation of having to make a choice between U.S. and China, which is really a choice we don't want to make, we can't afford to make. White added that as rivalry grows, a clash could ensue and grow to a war. the war could become a nuclear war if the two sides are'nt very careful. A risk that we all have to be conscious of.

Philippa McDonald, reporter of ABC news in Australia said that Australia is reliant on China for it's prosperity and the U.S. for it's security blanket. But former Australian ambassador to China, Stephen Fitzgerald, said that strengthening U.S. alliance and hosting hundreds of American marines in down under is risky. Fitzgerald believe that despite the denial of their government, the deployment is clearly aimed at China. It is just like choosing the devil and the deep blue sea.

In this kind of situation, who do we turn to?

Fear China from Within by Erick San Juan

Fear China from Within by Erick San Juan

I came across an article : “US: Palawan may be target of Chinese navy” by our friend,(Jose Katigbak Star,
Washington Bureau , The Philippine Star) which was centered on what Richard Fisher Jr., a US think tank military affairs analyst from the Center for Strategic and International Studies said that was quoted by Washington Times columnist Bill Gertz.

Basically what Fisher said was one of those ‘analysis’ that could aggravate the situation in the disputed areas in the South China Sea (SCS). In the first few paragraphs of the article, it tackled China’s intention of showing its maritime power and in the process bullying the neighboring countries. But in the latter part several speculations were given of why the so-called Chinese frigate, Dongguan was in the area. Methinks that the intention is to add more fuel to the already fiery situation in the South China Sea and pushing Manila to take action against this show of force by Beijing.

This is a far fetched scenario and such strategy, I believe is not in Beijing’s immediate plan of action. After all the efforts Beijing has exerted to help countries in the region through what they call soft power, there is a better agenda behind, that we have to analyze.

A Strategy From Within

For the past several months, tension in the SCS and the nearby contested areas has been the focus of the rest of the world for a possible conflict. Although efforts from the claimants and China had been exhausted to resolve territorial issues peacefully, the threat is still in the air. But, as one of the claimants, we have to revisit the past and understand how China worked its way ‘peacefully’.

I have been consistently telling my regular listeners in my daily radio program (@DWSS 1494khz, 5:30 to 6 p.m.) that the Chinese are very much entrenched in our society through what we call the ‘fifth column’.

A fifth column is a group of people who clandestinely undermine a larger group such as a nation from within.

A key tactic of the fifth column is the secret introduction of supporters into the whole fabric of the entity under attack. This clandestine infiltration is especially effective with positions concerning national policy and defense. From influential positions like these, fifth-column tactics can be effectively utilized, from stoking fears through misinformation campaigns, to traditional techniques like espionage. (Source: Wikipedia)

The fifth column strategy that was used during the transition period of Hong Kong before it became Special Administrative Region of China, “was an open secret and emerged to be a far from negligible political force. In addition, while there have been minor changes in the application of the fifth column over the years, Beijing's goal in employing the strategy has remained unchanged "to expand China's Communist Party's political power-base and to influence the future direction of Hong Kong." (Source: "Beijing's Fifth Column and the Transfer of Power in Hong Kong: 1983-1997," in Hong Kong in Transition, The Handover Years by Yin Qian)

In the article ‘Beware China's fifth-column efforts’, Chen Ching-chih (where I lifted the abovementioned excerpt) warned Taiwan that the same strategy will be used,
“Beijing devised its so-called ‘one country, two systems’ policy for enticing Taiwan to become a part of the People's Republic of China. The policy has since been applied to the absorption of Hong Kong in 1997 and Macau in 1999.”

And – “in line with the nature and the history of the CCP, Beijing has done virtually all it can, covertly as well as overtly, to compel the surrender of Taiwan which it has had no control over whatsoever. It has employed against Taiwan a strategy similar and yet more sophisticated than its fifth column in Hong Kong.” (Ibid)

Why am I citing these facts? The mere fact that the indications are here and like what I have been saying in my lecture, as resource speaker, and every time I have TV guestings, the semblance of the scenario before the first and second World Wars are here. The presence of the fifth column, gradually establishing its presence in major sections of our government, (translation-covertly operating under our nose). These should be the concern of our leaders, not engaging in shopping spree of war materiel that will only benefit the military industrial complex.

Let me reiterate what I wrote before, fear China from within and not from without. God forbid!

Is the HAARP being played again?

Is the HAARP being played again?
By Erick San Juan

Major world disasters in contemporary history where thousands of precious lives were sacrificed were viewed as natural disasters. Thanks to internet, it answered some unexplained ‘weird’ events that are just some clicks away.

The tsunami that hit Aceh, Indonesia and nearby coastal areas and the Haiti earthquake and the recent Japan earthquake cum tsunami are just some few examples where HAARP was played through weather engineering or modification.

These ‘weird” (to some) events involved human interference and if you will find this article unbelievable or too good to be true, just check your internet and there you will find what I am talking about.

HAARP and Weather Engineering

To my regular readers ( and listeners (@ DWSS 1494khz daily at 5:30 to 6p.m.) weather engineering through HAARP and the New World Order’s depopulation agenda are not new and ‘weird’ topics. I have written about these topics in the past and the reason we are revisiting this topic is because of the events our country is experiencing as of this writing. According to Pagasa weather bureau, the endless rains and thunderstorms brought about not by an Ondoy-like typhoon but only ‘habagat’ or southwest monsoon. The heavy rains has devastated the nation’s capital (NCR) and the nearby provinces where economic activities are concentrated.

One of my avid listeners has sent me documents explaining how our current weather condition can be triggered by HAARP, and that is through the Doppler Radar. Yes, the same Doppler Radar that we had been wanting to have to help our weathermen give the public accurate weather forecasts.

According to the said documents, the Doppler radars can serve as conductors that will trigger electromagnetic beam through the HAARP. This is where the weather manipulation will come in. What is HAARP anyway?

Some bloggers said that weather manipulation is the new kind of terrorism and to have the equipment to do this is like owning a weapon of mass destruction. And the best weapon is a secret weapon.

The High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) based in Gokoma, Alaska --jointly managed by the US Air Force and the US Navy-- is part of a new generation of sophisticated weaponry under the US Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI). It is operated by the Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate. HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas capable of creating "controlled local modifications of the ionosphere".
As what Scientist Dr. Nicholas Begich --actively describes HAARP as:
"A super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere [upper layer of the atmosphere] by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything -- living and dead." (Source: Washington's New World Order Weapons Have the Ability to Trigger Climate Change by Michel Chossudovsky)

Furthermore, from the same article - The use of HAARP -- if it were to be applied -- could have potentially devastating impacts on the World's climate. Responding to US economic and strategic interests, it could be used to selectively modify climate in different parts of the world resulting in the destabilization of agricultural and ecological systems.

It is also worth noting that the US Department of Defense has allocated substantial resources to the development of intelligence and monitoring systems on weather changes. NASA and the Department of Defense's National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) are working on "imagery for studies of flooding, erosion, landslide hazards, earthquakes, ecological zones, weather forecasts, and climate change" with data relayed from satellites.

The abovementioned excerpts from Prof. Chossudovsky are just a part of the big picture how this WMD can cause worldwide devastation. Like my listener Rels Octaviano, I did my part as a Filipino and sent the documents to some of PNoy’s cabinet officials suggesting to stop the operation of the Doppler radars at the moment to validate what I'm talking about. If they will not heed to our call, the blood of the victims in this calamity is in their hands. Dr. Jaime A. Sison, an avid radio listener added that these mad scientists controlling HAARP are like little gods without mercy. They are out to destroy our economically devastated country and people. Our government has no contingency plan to confront the 'reptilian' attack. While there's devastation in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao's weather are very normal.

We have to stop the HAARP being played on us. May God save us all.

First Strike Policy and Internet Control

First Strike Policy and Internet Control by Erick San Juan

Last month, computer geeks attended the world's largest annual hacking party in Las Vegas and had a rare chance to rub shoulders with the head of the U.S. National Security Agency. Gen. Keith Alexander, director of the NSA spoke at the DEFCON(Defense Control) Conference(Reuters 7/20/12). More than 15,000 hackers worldwide attended it's 20th anniversary of the first hacking event that was open to the public. Gen. Alexander holds four master degrees including one in electronic warfare and Physics.

The National Security Agency in it's profile plays both offense and defense in the cyber wars. It conducts electronic eavesdropping on adversaries, in addition to protecting the U.S. computer networks.

Jeff Moss aka Dark Tangent, an expert hacker organized the first Defcon Conference while working as a messenger for a Seattle law firm. He now sits on an advisory committee to the Department of Homeland Security. He also serves as chief security officer with ICANN( the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) which help manage the infrastructure of the total internet service.

At the DEFCON, there were talks on how to attack mobile phones, google TV, technical discussions on programming and government surveillance operation. DEFCON reportedly trains hackers to pick locks and has an annual contest to measure who is best at persuading corporate workers to release sensitive data over the phone.

Pundits believe that Washington wants to make sure that despite their control of cyberspace, no hackers can intrude their system just in case of a nuclear holocaust. Presently, the U.S. can at any time block both the whole internet service and it's various segments, thereby ensuring their political and military objectives in the global cyber space. The global computer network control system through the ICANN remains under the complete control of the NSA.

Some members of the U.N.'s Security Council proposed initiatives aimed at the development of a multilateral, transparent and democratic internet control and transfer of the fundamental network control from Washington to the United Nations. But the U.S. seeks to consolidate it's ability to use information technologies in addressing it's foreign policy objectives and influence anywhere in the world.

Pentagon in it's policy statement, considers the cyberspace as a complete environment of military operations in land, sea, air and space. In particular, according to the concept of cooperative access (JOAK) approved by the Committee of Chiefs of Staff (DOD) in December 2011, this will ensure the success of Washington's tactical and strategic operations anywhere in the world including the use of it's military propaganda and diplomatic resources. It will be a virtual complete internet control. In the information war, by controlling the international media and the net, you have the leverage and advantage to win the war.

As rivalry grows among big nations, who will start a war that could be mutually assure the destruction of all? The first strike policy of the U.S. is now being copied by China though it also worries them due to U.S. control of cyber space. Despite that, China has been using the SunTzu art of war of one step backward and two steps forward, this time the sleeping dragon has awakened and could first to strike. This could be catastrophic and out of desperation that they will go back to the dark ages.

At the moment, China wants to neutralize the U.S. proxies like the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia where U.S. portable bases are embedded. It will be better for our government not to hype the issue. In times of bad time where empires seem to collapse, these nations look for another enemy to fight to unite their warring factions which could lead to a civil war in China or a second revolution in the US.

God forbid!

Lessons Learned? by Erick San Juan

Fourteen years ago, I wrote about the impending war between China and the US and this article is very timely amidst the tensions brewing between the two superpowers.

Taken from what I wrote in August-September 1998 issue of Customsweek: Contrary to what Establishment-controlled media tells you, China’s leaders are hardcore Marxists who still believe that the United States is the number one obstacle to be removed between them and the Communist world domination. They consider Americans to be greedy, decadent, capitalistic pigs, but ‘officially’ they will tell the Americans only the things they want to hear – that they love the USA, that they want to be their trade and industry partner and emulate Uncle Sam in very way.

The topic I emphasized then was about Intelligence in Public Relations. The Chinese did these to lure the US into giving them some massive amounts of assistance, trade, high technology, military know-how, among others. And they won the hearts of the Americans. By using unparalleled intelligence and PR works, Uncle Sam granted them the Most Favored- Nation Status that was never ever given to us as their faithful (sometimes stupid) ally in the region.

This privilege was renewed on a yearly basis but after the reported massive human rights violation in China, it was removed but was again granted by then US President Bill Clinton.

Blame the West.

In an article by A. Greer Meisels (associate director and research fellow for China and the Pacific at the Center for the National Interest), her main emphasis - why the process of assessing blame for the collapse of the USSR is still a hot topic in Beijing was based on China’s President, Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao’s call for a continued reform process in China

This is in relation to the 18th National Party Congress some time in October or November that would be a historic leadership transitions in the Party’s political history. Of course, such event will affect China’s future in the field of economy and in the military as seen by the rest of the world.

They are actually more cautious now and reviewed what happened with the USSR and its breakdown. In Meisels’ analysis, there were three things that contributed to Russia’s fall, or what she termed as blame game, the third of which is blame the west.

China will see to it that what happened to USSR will not happen to them.

Is this the reason why they are now more aggressive, by bullying its neighbors in the SCS?

Pundits claim that the Chinese elite is doing that as part of their diversionary strategy to avert a possible implosion, a civil war in the offing due to too much corruption and in fighting from within. Fighting a foreign enemy will allegedly unite them.

As an observer of events unfolding, the threat of a regional conflict is not impossible with the aggressive move of China recently in the contested areas in the South China Sea. Building a garrison in an island in the SCS is directly provoking some neighboring countries especially claimants in the SCS. Those who first reacted to China’s move were Japan and Vietnam followed by Manila after the garrison announcement in the island of Sansha.

It is for a fact that Uncle Sam is directly “helping” most of the claimants in the SCS and actually calling for a multilateral solution to the said disputes. But as we all know, China is very firm to solve the disputes bilaterally, translation – without Uncle Sam or his loop of meddlers.

With lessons learned from Russia’s contemporary history, China will not allow the West, especially US to stop them from what they are planning to do as an emerging superpower. Worse comes to worst, there would be smoking guns this August.

"We're not going to war vs our neighbors ", says defense minister spokesman, Geng Yansheng. But action speaks louder than words.
The semblance of what happened before the first and second world wars are happening right now, and any miscalculation or stupidity to start a regional conflict, another world war is not far behind. Fear China from within and not from without. God forbid!
